Nothing good

To flee..smell of tobacco..mosquitoes.. no one has the welcome..no breakfast..
Not to mention the noise..of funny smells at the entrance.. next time I'll take more money going to another hotel

Find a BNB air or another hotel because it's rotten! Read more reviews!

I paid 50€ for a hotel worth 20! Attention lying pub there is no breakfast, take a bath towel because there is no and get up early hours if you want toilet paper and especially do not have full hair and other shower room! And take slippers if you don't want to catch warts! I took it because I took a shower this morning! In short, it's so rotten! We are better received on camping!

Disappointed hotel F1 changed

Reservation paid by CB on the internet with breakfast included although they no longer exist since December 2024 .You must contact the Ibis hotel opposite for the formalities of arrival. The room allocated is "no smoking" but unpleasant smell of cold tobacco upon entering. The bedding is clean but the room is not very clean as well as the common and sanitary areas. In summary I advise against this hotel, it is low cost , low prices in relation to the quality of services and the consideration given to customers!

Hotel probably best suited to a one-night stopover rather than a few days' stay

As a solo female traveller, I was pretty dismayed when I arrived at this hotel. I booked it online before my trip to France and was expecting a "basics" hotel, but when I got there it seemed like a far less than basic accommodation. Value for money-wise, I don't think the hotel reflects the price as I had stayed at a lovely, welcoming hotel with great facilities, a couple of nights earlier - and that had only cost 10 Euros a night more! The F1 room was tiny, dark and felt cold - there was a heater, but I didn't use it as the outside temperature wasn't too cold. At first, I felt like I was checking into a prison block or bail hostel! There is a big emphasis on technology - as in there is no key, just an entry code. There was no-one on site when I got there and the check-in machine didn't work. I had to work out that I needed to go to the posher version of Ibis nextdoor to find a receptionist. She was great and checked me in, and let me know that someone would be on-site at the F1 Hotel later.
Room - there was only one surface to store things. It was near the bed but there was no bedside table. There were only two hooks in the wall for hganging clothes. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room - you had to go to the foyer and buy drinks from a machine. The walls were plainly decorated in heavy-duty wood chip - apart from one "feature wall" which was made up of a collage of travel posters. It was almost as if the room had been designed, not just to be basic, but actually to be less than comfortable!
Bed - was comfortable. The linen seemed very clean. The cleaners seemed to work very hard and cleaned my room twice while I was there (a four-night stay).
Bathroom - extremely small. Decoration and general repair was very good. The shower stall was quite large. Unfortunately, the water ran cold until I'd had the shower on for at least five minutes. The first day I was there, it was quite warm but after that it never really ran more than lukewarm.
Breakfast - this was quite good, with a selection of bread types, spreads like jam or peanut butter, cheese, cake and cereals. I thought the muesli was excellent - seemed very good quality. The concierge was always there at breakfast time so you could ask, if you had any issues.
Location - the hotel is situated on an industrial estate, 2km away from Laval. There is a pub-style restaurant (Pub Brasserie) around the corner from the hotel, if you fancy a drink with dinner or just don't want to walk 30 minutes to get to town. The food was OK but, if you stay for a few nights, a walk to town is necessary for a choice of restaurants. Laval is situated at a reasonable distance from a lot of tourist sites and attractions, so it's a good base to tour from. However, I would probably choose another option (another town or a hotel in Laval) if I visited the area again.
