A charming welcome in the heart of the green Perigord

“L’Echappée Belle” is located in the quiet village of Cercles, very close to La Tour-Blanche, at an accessible distance from the multiple interests of Périgord vert and its pleasant countryside. It is a beautiful ancestral home, intelligently and elegantly renovated by its owners. The two bedrooms upstairs are tastefully decorated and perfectly kept, they are fresh during the summer days and enjoy a calm. Marie’s attentive welcome is equal to the place, she gives wise advice to find the good restaurants of the area and offers her guests an exquisite and hearty breakfast, thanks in particular to the jams she prepares themselves. A charming welcome in the heart of the green Perigord!

Great stay!

Great stay! The room was clean, large and well equipped. The bathroom and toilet are separate. The house is very nice and beautiful with its exposed stones and beams. The breakfast was perfect! Another big thank you to Marie for her kindness and considerateness:)

Disapointing

Room was very dusty. The bathroom was not private it was to be shared with other guests, this was not disclosed on the website. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, but unfortunately there was no water in the kettle making it difficult to take advantage of this facility, During our 3 night stay, the water in the kettle was never replenished as the room was never cleaned or bed changed or dressed. Towels supplied were limited and not replenished. Bread served at breakfast was stale,making breakfast very limited.
