Mercure hotel in a shared IBIS building
As soon as we entered the room, we smelled a strong odor of burnt rubber. Very unpleasant smell, the 2 rooms were not clean: carpet with dirt, stains, bathroom with worn seals, faded door frames, soiled sheets that were changed following our request.
Aging hotel and room that would deserve some renovations. The closet is dilapidated and the bathroom dates from another era. Renovation of the rooms is essential to respect the standing of a Mercure.
In summary
This hotel does not correspond to a 4-star hotel!!
It is far below that category; I do not recommend this hotel at all, as it should no longer be a Mercure. Moreover, it is losing momentum so much that half of the building is now an Ibis. You pay for a room at the Mercure and you share the same pool and the same breakfast buffet as the Ibis.
-The pool was very dilapidated and not monitored by the staff.
We shared our comments with the front desk; the staff remained silent.
we paid €650 for 2 privilege rooms with breakfast for 3 people while being lodged in an ibis building
no commercial gesture from the operations manager who acknowledged the facts; the only response was sorry for this inconvenience. Avoid at all costs!!!
