Great service

Everything was great. Beds were comfy, staff were friendly and helpful, and location was central and accessible to the rest of the city. My only note is that I prefer my bacon and eggs a little more cooked but I think that may be a cultural difference. I would stay again.

We had an excellent stay: the reception staff are smiling and very kind, the room is impeccable, the restaurant is really very good with sophisticated flavors.

Excellent 2-day weekend at the Amirauté in Brest

As during previous stays, the reception staff is very pleasant, the comfort of the room and the quality of the breakfast are there. We are delighted with our stay and we recommend this hotel and the weekend package (2 nights min).

Very good BUT not for cyclists!

Impeccable hotel, staff of great kindness. But there was an unpleasant situation with the hotel Manager.
Indeed, we did not inquire in advance and it is complicated for cyclists, no bike room; the staff provides spaces in a very secure underground garage, but it is a real obstacle course to get there, with the help of the staff who remain very pleasant.
But are cyclists welcome?
Clearly not:
The manager lectured my 16-year-old son, who was about to enter the hotel lobby with the bikes so that someone could show him the bike garage, that one does not show up at the reception of a 4-star hotel with bikes and that it is not done anywhere else for hotels of such standing!
Despite my son's most sincere apologies for having approached with our bikes near the entrance, without actually entering the hotel, the hotel Manager insisted on giving a life lesson (scolding him, to be polite), in an insistent manner, to my boy who was nevertheless apologizing for the misunderstanding, because indeed we are used to going to establishments, always with our bikes...
I had to arrive as a father and realize the situation to tell the Manager that either we can stay with our bikes, or we change establishments. Our bikes were accepted, we stayed, but he did not apologize for the life lesson that was simply inappropriate toward my son; it was just too much of an attitude...
In summary, great hotel, adorable staff, but a Manager with an excessive and inappropriate demeanor toward a young person, and I am not saying this because it was my son; other people were treated to the spectacle of inappropriate belittling by an adult toward a young person.

Great hotel

Very pleasant hotel with impeccable service in the heart of Brest, close to shops. Royal breakfast and very refined dinner.
