Too basic... but they could easily fix it
No soap, shampoo etc.
The sink leaked water onto the bathroom floor.
The shower bracket wouldn't hold the hand piece and that could easily have been fixed in 2 minutes with a screwdriver.
There was a painting frame on the wall with no painting in it.
All small things they could easily fix but I suspect they never will.

Good value for money
My daughter and I stayed for two nights. First impression is a little run down. However the gentleman who runs this hotel could not have been more helpful if he tried!! he was a complete gentleman and rescued us from missing our flight when we had been scammed by a taxi firm who did not turn up!!
Our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The hotel is just yards away from the main square and markets of Beziers and and ideal stop for touring the city. There are blackout blinds which were great at keeping the light out and our room was air conditioned, superb as it was rather hot during out stay, we were able to go back to our room to escape the 35+ temperatures.

OK for one night, but no longer

Disliked · The hotel is about 10 metres away from the main road which means there's no respite from the ongoing traffic, even at 2am. The street lights shine straight into the room which makes it really hard to sleep. I stayed in a room on the first floor and, as a result could hear people on the street outside as if they were IN the room! Just normal conversation levels, no loud voices.
I'd suggest the following: secondary double-glazing and blackout blinds would make a huge difference to the levels of noise. The hotel is in an old building and does not have a lift, so it's not suitable for people with mobility issues. The room was rather cheap, at £27 per night, and I only stayed for one night, which was just about bearable. I did not manage to have a good night's sleep due to the noise levels and brightness in the room. There was no shower gel/soap in the room either.

Lovely little hotel
The location is excellent, right off the main street and a few minutes walk from the bus station.
The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast excellent.
The room I stayed in was quite small and once it has been decorated would look much nicer.
It was spotlessly clean and had a little balcony overlooking the street, it is a bit noisy but it's in the middle of the town so expected.
Overall a fantastic stay, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
