Very welcoming and friendly.

We enjoyed our breakfasts with Claudette. Lovely home made produce and good coffee.It was good too, to talk to the other guests from France and other parts of Europe.
The rooms are clean and plenty of hot water.
The location is very good for visiting a range of lovely medieval villages and towns and close to good swimming places at Chambon and Plage de Bonnu.

Excellent Guest House

We recently stayed with Claudette and Jonathan. What a lovely couple, who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. Claudette cooked a beautiful evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would highly recommend staying here.

Berrychone - welcoming

Staying with Claudette and Jonathon at Berrychone, their 300 year old cottage, my husband, daughter and son-in-law visited for one night with evening meal included. We were made very welcome and felt very happy in their company. Tasty, hearty evening meal and good breakfast. Very
peaceful setting too. Would recommend.

Hospitality second to none

Claudette and Jonathan made us very welcome in their lovely home that they had lovingly renovated, keeping many original features of this period house. As well as a comfortable room with ensuite facilities, they provided a substantial breakfast and good conversation. We were most grateful for the assistance and patience in helping us find accommodation near Fecamp as we hadn't realised we were approaching a Bank Holiday.

The welcome

The property is a charming old building, probably a converted old mill. A particular feature was the very warm welcome we received on arrival, and the ease with which we could converse in English. There was a very hearty breakfast.
The countryside around is lovely.
Unfortunately the night we were there (a Tuesday) the restaurant in the village was closed but there are some good eating places in nearby Argenton.
