Charming hotel
We stayed for three nights when visiting the Normandy beaches and Mont St Michel. Location is amazing, so easy to walk to grab food or meet our tours. We had never been to Bayeux and fell in love with the town.
The room was spacious and met all expectations. We were there in warm, summer weather and appreciated the fan and window that opened wide.
The bathroom was very well appointed, the shower good sized and updated.
Even though the room opened onto the patio, the noise was not an issue and this added to the charm.
The front desk was so helpful providing a guidebook for the area and be patient with us.
This hotel is a great value as you can easily walk there from the train station and walk all over town in minutes.

Sorry
Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. We were assigned an attic on the third floor without an elevator, accessible only via a very narrow staircase. It would have been correct to inform guests of this situation before arrival, especially for those traveling with luggage or who may have mobility difficulties.
Furthermore, we decided to order breakfast for 2 at 24 euros, but after seeing that the croissant was clearly not fresh and there was nothing else to eat as an alternative, my husband and I decided not to have breakfast. When I asked for explanations about the room and the breakfast and expressed my disappointment, the only response I received was a simple "Sorry," without any attempt to find a solution or accommodate the customer.
What a shame, because greater transparency and better management of complaints would have made the experience very different. I hope this review can be useful for those who decide to go to this "hotel."

A very pleasant stay
My friend and I spent 5 days at this charming hotel in Bayeux. The owners were extremely helpful and we felt very welcome. The location is great and the rooms clean and quite. We definitely would stay again, it is a great value!

You will not regret this choice
Before entering the impression may not be great, but as soon as you enter everything changes.
The staff is very kind, the rooms are completely renovated and very tastefully.
Breakfast is good and is served in the courtyard which has a nice aquarium, or in the indoor area overlooking the courtyard anyway.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the cathedral and a short walk from free parking.
