Accuiel Horrendous

Hi.
After a 3 hour drive, a PCR test to comply with this hotels policy. I arrived at the hotel.
I was directed to a woman with a lot of masquarer.and we had a polite talk as she looked for my booking. I HAD ready my pre paid e mail reciept from my company and showed her.
Suddenly she gave me a ticket to pay 49.90 euros ,upon whch i insisted its already paid and showed again my pre paid e mail.
Her reply was we dont accept payment by internet.
I had no idea but gave her a clue that maybe its paid in another manner than internet.
No she insisted and wouldnt give me my room key
Unless i paid up.
I told them i must sleep.in the car in that case , muchbto the amusement of the already installed clients.
I used a few expletives and headed to my car..
As i checked my sleeping bag was there in the boot the manager approached me and said Mr ..........., its ok we have recived payment already...
Thecwoman had abig smile and an apology was not firthcoming.
All they wanted to ask me was i going to eat in their restaurant both the evening and breakfast time.
I asked for a commercial gesture as the breakfast costs 13.95 euros ..the woman replied thats his problem as she pointed to the manager.
To be honest..i was so embarrased i had no wish to eat with them .
When i asked if they needed to see my Sani Pass for COVID their reply was no.
Thats my experience in a Hotel that calls itself the Haylton

Très malaisant, pas reposant

L'établissement n'est pas à la hauteur des prétentions ni du calme qu'on peut attendre. Personnel ayant des réactions inappropriées à des demandes légitimes et des basiques du service (apporter une carafe d'eau à table, aider à porter un bagage). Et on découvre qu'il y a une soirée discothèque sur la terrasse le samedi soir quand il n'est plus possible d'annuler la nuitée. Je suis partie avant la fin de mon séjour tellement j'étais choquée.

Excellente prestation

De passage pour un séjour professionnel et malgré les restrictions dues au covid19 nous avons été accueillis mon collègue et moi même très convenablement par Boris
Les chambres sont très propres et la literie très confortable
Concernant la restauration le cuisinier propose des plats à emporter très simples mais d’excellente qualité
Les tagliatelles à la carbonara très bien préparées
Le burger montagnard au black angus parfaitement cuit et savoureux avec son accompagnement de frites maison salade de coleslow et un tiramisu en dessert

Midi basse côte de black angus et son accompagnement riz/champignons parfaitement assaisonnés et cuit parfaitement
Une adresse idéale pour un séjour professionnel ou une halte sur la route des vacances
