Top this Ibis Amboise

On a gastronomic visit to Amboise (dinner at Château de Pray), I booked for one night two rooms (with a couple of friends) at this Ibis Amboise that I had already visited two or three times in the past. On April 16/17, top welcome of the young woman at the service that day, small aperitif served on the terrace at lunch. Conveniently located hotel, always top room as well as breakfast, large and secure parking, on-site restaurant for those who want to stay at the hotel, reception open H 24, which is a plus in case of major worries. In short a good hotel from the Ibis Classique sur Amboise range (which also has a Budget on the same city). I'd be happy to come back when I'm in the area. An overall addition of 271.16 euros for two bedrooms, four breakfasts, four consumptions bar, tourist and departmental taxes. Correct for the proposed service.

Terrible!!!!

Terrible experience. Luckily, we only stayed one night after visiting the Château d'Amboise. The price is exorbitant for the service they offer: a tiny room without even a place to put our suitcases—and we had a triple room!—a very small bathroom without any comfort. We had to ask for the towels to be replaced because the ones we found in the room were dirty. Furthermore, only one towel per person: absurd! The breakfast, then, was pathetic... In the evening, since we were tired, we had dinner at the restaurant that claims to be an Italian restaurant: terrible! Never eaten so badly! My son ate a disgusting mushroom risotto, mushy and flavorless, so much so that he left it, even though he was hungry. I had a country terrine that, as soon as I tasted it, I was about to vomit and I left it. If you want some advice, stay awayyyyy!!!!!

Convenient and close to the mini chateaux park.

Accessible for people with reduced mobility, despite previous comments stating otherwise; room 112 is a bit small, and especially for the second time in an Ibis with a bed pushed against the wall on one side, it is absolutely not practical; however, the bathroom is very good, nothing to say.
The Italian restaurant on-site does the job for a reasonable price; in terms of value for money, I enjoyed the grilled chicken pesto penne, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was not quite up to the usual Ibis standard, but the exceptional reason given allowed me to understand why.
The soft-boiled eggs are from the farm.
You have a Leclerc center right next door for your fuel or shopping needs.

To avoid

Very disappointing for an Ibis Styles, does not deserve the 3 stars, as for the restaurant a disaster, the so-called cook does not even know how to cook tagliatelle properly
