very pleasant holiday

a very nice stay if you have children younger than 18 years.. the gites are very nice..we prefer the gites than the rooms...the clafoutis room is the best room near the pool...why is it so fantastic here? the atmosphere is fantastic..everybody talks with each other ,95% are from Belgium..in the evenings you receive a fantastic meal for 37 euro.. the food here is very delicious and tasty . at 17h the bell rings and than you can taste the ice cream here ...hmm really the best ice cream we ever eat ...orange..white chololate..lemon..coffee..during the day it is very calm at the pool and you can also play petanque and ping pong...don't hesitate to book this!!!!

Disappointing BB

No cat to be seen upon arrival, but the house dog was happily swimming in the pool and the house cat was doing its thing on the terrace. Dog turds scattered in the garden, broken garden furniture. The worst part was that the owner was not present on the property. After several attempts we were able to make contact by telephone and it turned out that our room (booked last April, 2 separate bedrooms) was already being used by someone else. No problem, the owner said over the phone, but what he offered as a replacement did not match our booking. There was 1 bedroom where a camp bed was added. The owner did not even think compensation was necessary. We thanked him kindly for that and left. A location that is no longer worth being on booking sites!!!

Abandoned place

The place is abandoned, lack of maintenance in the buildings and exterior spaces. No welcome, the key is on the door and in 5 days we were not welcomed by anyone (apart from the person who provides maintenance), no meals possible on site due to the absence of a cook (without we have been warned).
The owner's dog swims in the pool and runs around barking at people... Too bad because the place has the potential to be magical.

Ontgoocheld!

Bij aankomst om 16.30 stonden we voor een gesloten deur. We moesten telefoneren naar de gastheer die ons dan per telefoon naar onze kamer leidde. Wij hadden geboekt voor 1 nacht. Bij het ontbijt was enkel de poetsvrouw aanwezig en we zaten als enige gasten aan een meterslange tafel. Geen muziek en muisstil. Heel ongezellig. Wij hebben de gastheer en vrouw niet gezien. Een hotel is nog pesoonlijker want daar is er tenminste een onthaal waar je je vragen kan stellen.

Petit déjeuner de roi

Endroit calme, proche des champs de lavande, accueil convivial et chaleureux par Johan, petit déjeuner fait maison et délicieux, on se sent directement comme à la maison, à conseiller vivement, à visiter: Grignan, Dieulefit, le Poet-Laval
