Horrible

Avoid at all costs!
I had booked two nights at this hotel in order to be able to rest with my two children after an 11-hour drive. The next morning, my son was participating in the French Championship starting at 8 a.m., so it was essential that we be able to get a good night's sleep.
Upon our arrival, we discovered a room in an unacceptable condition: bed bugs, stains on the sheets, hair... A room that I consider unsanitary.
I immediately called the emergency number. The person I spoke to on the phone spoke to me disrespectfully, claimed that the room had been cleaned that very morning, and that what I was describing was false. She then hung up on me.
About thirty minutes later, that same person called me back saying that another room was finally available, even though during our first conversation she had claimed that the hotel was full. Given the condition of the first room and the presence of bed bugs, I refused to sleep in another room at the establishment. The way I was treated is unacceptable.
Result: after a full day of driving, we were forced to spend the night in our car with my two minor children. I didn't sleep all day Friday, nor the night from Friday to Saturday.
Having found no satisfactory solution for the second night, we had to get back on the road on Saturday at 7 p.m., in a state of extreme fatigue.
I am deeply disappointed, both by the condition of the room and by the lack of professionalism and respect from the person in charge of the on-call service. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

Bad

Run away, clean up, cockroaches. We are offered a refund... Of course we're still waiting for him...
(This is my first negative opinion)

Horrible and especially to flee

the place: in a brownfield with Traveller camp
the hotel: smell of cold cigarettes throughout the hotel / 50% of showers that do not work or no hot water / no staff in the evening to try to bring calm to the hotel / and above all, no soundproofing indoors (unable to sleep)
cleaning not done under beds (among others)

HORRIBLE

During our visit, we detected the presence of bedbugs, not assumed by the manager of the establishment who calls us liars in nois answering that the photos do not come from his establishment! In what interest? To escape.

A 3 star Formule 1

Put this into perspective: if you know what a 'Formule 1' is then you know what to expect at the Hotel'Eco (which is or used to be a Formule 1).
The rooms are basic and dated and bathrooms are shared. There's no air conditioning and no fan which is probably OK when it's not 40°C outside! Like most of these hotels it's located near an autoroute exit and away from the city centre (less than 5 minutes by car)
Unlike other similar hotels this one is actually in a hypermarket car park which is a bit strange and depressing (and possibly noisy through the week but we were fortunate enough to wake up on a Sunday). FYI there is also a restaurant next to the hotel which looked OK but we drove to Albi which is beautiful by night too (and had a great meal on rue Piale).
Great if your aim is to spend as little as possible: It's cheap but definitely not cheerful!
