This is not worthy of a 4-star rating.
The welcome from the young staff is very friendly and pleasant.
It is after that things go wrong… The door to room 21 has been forced and it is not possible to lock it…
Then it was extremely hot and there are not enough air conditioning remotes for all the rooms! Unthinkable for a 4-star hotel!
We had to threaten to leave the hotel and demand a refund to get functional air conditioning.
The lobby, the bar, and the large dining room are welcoming and nicely arranged.
In fact, there is a real disparity between the common areas and the rooms.
At the bar, we had a young person who is not a bartender and did not know what a Mirabelle was nor how to make a Gin and Tonic…
At breakfast, at 9:00 AM, there were no more breads, cheeses, or fruits, still in a supposed 4-star setting!
The staff constantly apologizes, but the problem does not come from them; it comes from the absence of the owners and a lack of training for these young employees!
Fortunately, the bedding is of good quality and it was clean!
The value for money is absolutely not there!

The breakfast was excellent but the evening menu was limited especially for children. The staff were very helpful even with my limited French and their limited English, we always got through

Staff make up for the faults
Rooms are smallish, but liveable. Their airco works fantastic. Nespresso machine is always welcome. Free bottle of still and sparkling water is a good thought. Hairdryer is one of the best.
Breakfast is a once good, next time not so good. So if you're staying several days, you don't know if you're getting the same. The breakfast choices are good, really fresh fruit. Eggs are always quite cold.
We had room #23 (the same for 25), is noisy when they are moving equipment around for a function. The two rooms are rooms for invalids, so there is no glass separators for the shower, so everything gets very wet.
Restaurant is not advisable. The caesar salad had limp greenery, and covered with CURRY sauce!!!! The chicken slices were supermarket type... dry.
Parking ground is big but not guarded, but not many people walk there, so it shoudk be quite safe.
All in all, if it hadn't been for the staff, the 4 day stay would have been a disaster.
