Great hotel for great price.

Can not beat the price for the location. Rooftop has spectacular views. you can also cross the street and hop right on a boat to take you across the river.

Good location, on West bank close to several eating options and easy access to private boats to cross to East Bank (100EGYP per boat). Roome big and clean, good water pressure in showers. Good view from terrace restaurant.
But can be much better in terms of facilities provided.
I did not get river view room despite specifically booking one for extra. Breakfast quite limited and despite being served on table per head, not hot.
Refrigerator in room not cooling properly.
No chair/tables in room.
Do not provide any water bottles on check in day and no tea/coffee kettle provided either.

Our "room" was a roomy two bedroom apartment, much better than a standard hotel room. The hotel is family owned and managed, somebody is always available if you need. There is a restaurant/breakfast area on the last floor with a spectacular view of the Nile. Tours can be booked through them with competitive prices.
