Boat wasn’t there

We booked the boat for boarding and overnight in Cairo but it wasn’t in Cairo but Aswan. They did not tell us and we arrived at night and it was not there. They did not return our money nor respond. We booked through booking.com, they did not help either. Others in Egypt booked through booking.com for non-existent lodging.

A 2star boat on a 5 star river

The boat is in need of maintenance, none of the safes or tvs worked in any of the rooms, there was no WiFi available. Several people in our group had to move rooms due to beds collapsing, bathrooms flooding, shelves and hanging rails falling down. It felt l8ke faulty towers at times.
That being said the public areas were clean, Dining was buffet style, food was ok, though not always hot. I could always find something to eat, but we did go early for meals as better options often ran out. Staff were friendly though not very efficient.
Excursions were good but often felt rushed, and our guide Diaa was disorganised and not very fluent in English
