Don’t stay anywhere else in Manta!
I had an excellent stay at Oro Verde in Manta and would absolutely stay here again if I return to the area.
The hotel is very modern, well maintained, and located right in the heart of Manta. Despite its central location, the bungalow area is incredibly peaceful and serene. I stayed in one of the bungalows and loved the quiet atmosphere. The bungalow section even has its own private pool, which made the experience feel even more exclusive and relaxing.
The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to Samantha at the front desk. She was amazing—friendly, kind, professional, and always willing to help. Her English was excellent, which made everything easy and comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of options to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the shopping mall, and beach access is quick and easy.
The main pool area is excellent. I especially appreciated the mature trees around the pool that provide partial shade from the hot sun while still allowing you to enjoy the beautiful weather.
I also had three spa massages with Veronica, and she was outstanding. She is a true professional with excellent technique and firm pressure. She genuinely focuses on helping guests relax and feel their best. The spa experience was one of the highlights of my stay.
Overall, Oro Verde offers a wonderful combination of modern amenities, outstanding service, a relaxing atmosphere, and a convenient location. I highly recommend it and would only stay here if I ever came back to Manta.

Wonderful
My stay was from April 22-24. The hotel is very nice and very accommodating to English speaking people. Excellent breakfast buffet included with your room. All employees were wonderful especially Gustavo at the front desk. Speaks perfect English and can answer any questions you ask. I give the hotel five stars and also Gustavo. Thank you!

Best place in Manta for our monthly women’s cafe
We had a women cafe at the Gourmet Deli cafeteria. The staff went over the top make our experience the best: they served a table for us, facilitated a flower vase to put some flower we brought, served the food as per every guest requirement.
Food and drinks were delicious.
We enjoyed a great environment to talk freely and enjoy the women’s cafe.

Great stay! The unfortunate element is that the hotel does snot recognize a USA passport in it’s entirety for IVA (Ecuadorian Taxes) purposes; unlike Hilton or Marriott properties it has a loop hole where in the passport it has to show the naturalized citizens was born in the USA regardless (as in my case) where I live in the USA for all of my 50-years of life except for 5 years. Eventually, this IVA can add up if I stay for two weeks or longer which is what I usually do. As far as the hotel, it meets all USA 4-star standards when it comes to amenities, staff, location, and miscellaneous. Great Hotel. I will return.
