An agreement is not an agreement

Calls under a day before arrival and says we still don't have a booking due to mess from his side. Before that, there was also a mess in the communication because he had problems with his email.
We ended up communicating over the phone when we booked. When he saw calls and cancellations, it was allegedly because he had overlooked rental through Booking.com or Hotels.com. It's just not cool to have to find something else with short notice.

Really nice and quiet B&B.
All was ready for us when we came late at night. They had even called us on the arrival day for breakfast options.
