Never again.
I had the meat exchanged for a filet.
Boring food for kr. 234,00.
Then I got a cola and water.
It cost DKK 70.00.
Service was poor.
I'll never be there again.

Authentic nice old furnished hotel
The hotel has what it takes to spend an ordinary and cosy night. Cute and service minded staff. Good beds.

Disappointing service
But at my colleagues' hotel (Hotel Gammel Havn) located 2 minutes away, they were nice to suggest by my colleagues checked in now. My colleagues got a door code on SMS and the keys were placed in an agreed place so they could enter.
Even though I said that I would come back in the evening when I was going to the fair, the reception at Postgaarden was not so service-minded, so when I arrived at Postgaarden a little over 21:00, the hotel and reception were closed. I ended up having to take the train back to Zealand, and therefore missed day 2 of the fair.
It disappointed me that the hotel was not willing to admit that the lack of advice on checking in, now that I said I would come back in the evening, and with their own knowledge of when the reception closed, did not prompt them to present that I checked in now, with the promise that they would leave a key to the room at an agreed place, just like at the much more service-minded Hotel Gammel Havn, well could have been handled better, and therefore had credited me the room.

Working nearby.
I’m not bothered about my towel being changed every day but my dustbin never got emptied in the 3 nights I was there, is that up to the visitor to empty them.
Unfortunately too we had a single bed and a sloping roof because we were in the attic rooms, so a bang of the head didn’t go amiss.
The breakfast is lovely and so is the location.
Hopefully the next time I stay I don’t get the same room.
