Charming and convenient roadside stay ️

Stayed at Motel Højmølle Kro in Denmark – a charming and straightforward place, exactly what you'd expect from a classic roadside motel.
We arrived late in the evening and were warmly welcomed by the helpful staff. Check-in was quick and easy, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant.
Can definitely recommend for a simple and comfortable stay.

Gourmet food.

A really cozy dining place, where you serve gourmet food and have a good selection of wines. Very dedicated staff who provide good service. The food is worth a 125 km trip from Copenhagen.

Really delicious food with associated wine menu. Engaged staff, which you can notice has time for a talk about their ideas about the place. A pleasure.

A very tragic experience!

We had booked rooms a few months in advance. The order was confirmed with a pleasant and welcoming letter (e-mail). After driving 730 km from Oslo and arriving as agreed, a Sunday late afternoon, we did not find the key where it was said to be found. We contacted the host who then had no peiling on us and our order! Funny! After a while back and forth they acknowledged that they had not received our order printed out; maybe that was why it was good in the forgotten book? The host arranged for us at Hotel Falster. The incident is highly regrettable and has made it clear that we will not book accommodation here again.
