Not far from the airport a lot of running routes close by, decent breakfast. A large mall at walking distance, with restaurants, some might be offering a discount if staying with Cabinn

This hotel is OK. Easy to get to the Centre, but if I go back to Copenhagen, I will chose another hotel.

If you are going to Copenhagen for a quick night or on a budget, this can be fine. If you plan on hanging out at the hotel, I would choose another hotel. Rooms were clean, but keep in mind there is no AC.

Offputting experience

Above all, charging €250 for a night in a cabin hotel like this is ridiculous and, frankly, hard to justify. The electronic check-in was unnecessarily complicated and did not even provide the room number. The place is noisy, close to a road, and the windows are difficult to close properly.
Then there are the irritating details. When you enter the room, all the lights are on and have to be switched off individually. This includes the light above the upper bed, meaning you actually have to climb a tiny ladder just to turn it off.
All of this might be acceptable in a budget hotel. But at €250 a night, it simply isn’t. Very poor value for money and an off-putting experience.

Cheap budget is fine, but the check-in process here is not fit for purpose, at any price.
The digital check-in screens broadcast personal details to everyone in a crowded reception, room number when allocated disappears without warning and is nigh-on impossible to retrieve and the very few staff present are ‘not for check-in’.
Then the parking machine is unintuitive and unhelpful and signage around the hotel is even more minimal than the service.
I’ve stayed in budget hotels all over the world and this was my singular most frustrating experience ever.
The bed was ok and it was close to the airport, so I didn’t have to stay long. Thankfully.
You’ve probably guessed; I won’t be staying at a ‘Cabinn Metro’ again. Ever.
