My Favorite Camp Site for Prague

I have stayed here each year sometimes twice for last 6 years and just love this site for visiting Prague, although its out of town it is so nice and peaceful to return to after a day in the City and away from the City Noise. Staff are very helpful and will direct you the best way to town I buy a day ticket on site and use the bus (about 500 metres) from campsite runs every 20-30 minutes and the the Tram from Koblyse. i find the tram a more enjoyable ride as you see the sites all way into town rather than on the underground. All the facilities on site are kept nice and clean and as well as showers and toilets there is a washing machine for doing clothes and linens. There is a briliant local restaurant called Trunmpety's with great local food at great value prices. there is also a small bar and snack bar on site as well as small shop with essentials in it. I will keep coming back for sure as long as I visit Prague.

Do not go here

Pictures on booking.com look fine but in real its nothing like that. The accomodation is old. The lights did not work. The stove did nog work. And the bedding was dirty and we could not sleep because the matras was old and thin. We dont recommend a stay here. Booking.com only showed my positive review. So can not be trusted.

Very overpriced for the standard it provides

The site probably deserves two and a half stars but falls short of three. The pitches are very uneven and while there has been some attempt to define the spaces by planting shrubs, these have not been maintained. Parts of the park needed mowing while we were there and in general, there is little investment or pride in the park’s presentation. At €45 a night for a pitch with two people, the standard is way below what we’ve been paying for a similar price through Italy and Austria on this trip. We were really disappointed. As for the advertised pool, it is an above ground structure that is so uninviting, nobody was using it even though it was very warm when we were there. The reason I gave the site two stars is because the amenities were very clean. It’s a place that knows it can bring in money because Prague is accessible. A rip off at the price.

Good Campsite

Good campsite. We stayed here on a road rally, we stayed in one of the shed hut things, so we did not have to mess about with a tent. The huts are not insulated so a tent would have been warmer. The hut and faculties where clean and the site was peaceful. The location was quite close to Prague so overall good. We had enough room to park our car down the side of the shed as well.

Perfect for Prague

This is my eighth visit in 5 years and I love this site the appeal of being out in the country yet with easy access to visit all of Prague The management of the site is excellent and the staff really helpful, nice pitches, good shower and toilet block as well as wi fi and a nice bar that sells hot snacks also. There is also a good restaurant in walking distance from the site I always buy my day ticket from reception 110kr and you can then take the local bus to Koblyse that runs every 20 mins are from there you have the option of metro or trams, personally i always take the trams as i enjoy the views on the ride to the city (with metro you see nothing). The ticket covers you to use all three methods as much as you want in a day, you just validate your ticket on you first transport (here the bus) and then you will generally not need to show your ticket again. What I like is after a fun day in the city you can come back here to a little tranquility and chill out. I will continue to return everytime i visit Prague for me its the only campsite i would want to stay at.

Very good location
