The hotel is better than ok - but one has some way to go
Very good
* The reception staff was very nice and helpful, which gave a significantly better service experience than I had during previous stays in the Czech Republic. However, this does not apply to the cleaning and kitchen staff, which may possibly have been due to language barriers, they did not seem to understand English.
* The breakfast buffet was one of the better I experienced in the Czech Republic. The range of coffee, tea, salads, juices and muesli was good, although it does not quite meet the standard internationally. I was missing a coarser bread, the traditional rye bread found in the country and some kind of crispbread. The buffet, on the other hand, contained a large variety of cakes, cakes and other sweets, which is certainly appreciated by many, even if it does not suit my breakfast habits.
* The room was nicely decorated with tasteful furniture and gave a nice overall impression. Unfortunately, doors that do not soundproof. The worst was the doors to the toilet and bathroom, everything was heard out.
Broken shower and AC. Got a fan in the room, but complained and had to change rooms. The shower didn't work as intended.
* I would have liked to have seen a greater focus on traditional breakfast options instead of the large selection of cakes and sweets. That's a matter of taste, of course, but I would have appreciated more savory options.
* It would be desirable for allergens to be clearly labelled at food. There was a sign outside the breakfast restaurant referring to allergen information, but when I asked the kitchen staff, I didn't get any help, probably because of language difficulties. Clear labelling directly at the buffet had made it much easier for guests with allergies or other dietary requirements, it is becoming more and more common even in countries in Eastern Europe.
* The garden was affected by an extensive construction site on the property opposite. It would also have been appreciated if half of the outdoor seating had been reserved for non-smokers or if smoking had been referred to the area outside the hotel. Being exposed to cigarette smoke during breakfast was not a pleasant experience.

The room sink smelt of rotten eggs. Bed sheet and pillows case don’t get changed after 5 days until I had to ask for change. Normally a 4/5 star hotel will change daily. I found those unhealthy and gross. No shower gel in the bath unless I ask them to refill. What’s the point of having cleaning staff? They spend more time talking about the bedroom doors than cleaning the rooms properly.
They main door lock need to be changed. People keep getting stuck outside the hotel. A security risk. Imagine a single girl trying to get in after a night out and she can’t open the main door.. so girls be aware about the front door.. many drunken guys around that area

Birthday in Prague between Christmas markets
Beautiful experience lived in Prague staying in this structure .Beautiful room well air-conditioned and particular in fact it was a room on 2 levels with the bed in the attic. Very good and varied breakfast both sweet and savory. Strategic place near one of the main squares (Museum and Wenceslas Square) we had a great time
