Very good, clean, good service. But many services are at another nearby hotel.

The positives:
The First Impression we received upon arrival was the good treatment of the receptionist, she was very friendly, provided us with a space to store luggage while we waited for the room to be ready (it was ready very quickly). The room we were assigned was great, weather in good condition that cooled well, cable TV that looked good, minibar, clean towels, clean sheets and pillows. The waitress service cleaned and organized every day. The hotel has excellent location, close to the main attractions of the city. Breakfast was made in the Hotel Libertad (they are under the same administration) and for the way things are in Cuba was good, there was always coffee, milk, bread, egg, guava juice and some sausage, one day we even got fruit.
It has a very nice terrace with nice visit but while we were there only opened once, there was music, many
people, cocktails and bottled beer (Parranda).
You can also go to the Hotel Libertad that there is a terrace with beer dispensed but I think not always, there are cocktails, bottled beer and things to snack, the lobby also offers
Now I go with the negative:
Sometimes there was no water, and in others it came in poor quality, as dirty, in the hotel you do not sell water, you have to go to other businesses or the Hotel Libertad.
There are no restaurants in the hotel or snack or bar (only the one on the terrace that opens sometimes at night), you have to go to the Libertad for breakfast, also lunch and dinner but only breakfast.
In the Liberty the one at the reception had bad fleas not so the security of the door or those at the bar. At the Libertad Hotel I saw very expensive things Parranda beer and soft drinks, it is more expensive even than private businesses that are reputed to be expensive

Lousy.

I write this opinion because things happen here that I don't think they need to be. On the arrival day 3rd of July I receive in the folder a gentleman with wonderful attention. The only good thing so far. After the evening arrival there was no electricity and I ask if it had plant say no it is damaged. The rooms are very small and have no ventilation anywhere so being in there without electricity is impossible
I ask for water to take the waitress and the answer is that you do not have to go to a nearby hotel to buy it. At lunchtime they have no offers either but to go to that other place in the rain and without the presence of an umbrella at least in the room. The next day from 6 am it is impossible to sleep with a noise caused by workers in the hallway communicating with each other extremely loudly. I know it's a three-star hotel, but things like that can't really happen. I count the minutes to return to my city I think I should be paid to stay here instead of paying myself.

Lousy hotel with worse food.

We were there for two nights as part of a group tour. The hotel is on the second floor. There is no elevator. Wifi is not happening. It is dirty. Our room had no light bulbs in the bedside tables. Our room was noisy. And the electricity went out several times.
We ate at the hotel and the food was horrible. They served a bowl of ice cream that was inedible.

I will be back

Alright. It is a state hotel. It has good prices. It is quite good and cared for. Although it is from 1954, it was renovated a few years ago. The best thing is the rooftop terrace, with its live music, the bar and a great mixologist who prepares wonderful mojitos and daiquiris for 200 pesos
