Fantastic place

Amazing food & so friendly - I just wish we had stayed at your hotel as it looks amazing. Hopefully next time!
The restaurant is in such a beautiful setting & so is the hotel & everyone was so friendly to us. Food was fantastic too - sad to leave & will def return

Great restaurant

We only had lunch in the restaurant. Very nice spot with the beach just below, Well cooked fish, good pasta and delicious deserts in a relax family atmosphere.
You could always find things to improve but overall a pleasant experience. I recommend

Small sea side hotel in a quieter part of Hvar family run

Small seaside hotel located in a quieter part of Hvar island. Clean rooms
Private swimming pool and sun deck / chairs
Hotel by the beach
Is run by very friendly family
Very nice food served, some of them pieces of art
Cocktail bar
Great breakfast
Hotel is a bit remote located in Zavala on the south side of the island. No public transport
Rental car or own car is advised to see more of the island
We would definitely come back to this lovely place

Wonderful hotel on the coast od Hvar

I spent a few short days in this wonderful hotel on the coast of Hvar. This is a great place to unwind. There is a small public beach right on the property but it was never crowded and there was a walkway to the small town where you could find a place between the rocks to lay your towel with a little more privacy.
The restaurant and beach bar both had nice views of the Adriatic and served tasty and reasonably priced treats.
The staff and owners were very responsive and generous. I thoroughly recommend Hotel Skalinada.
