Really nice place

My stay at Tinto Hostel was really nice. It was a really quiet time so I stayed some nights almost alone in the hostel which was really relaxed. The stuff is nice all the time, the 2 kitchens are great, the view from the balcony is incredible and the pool and the garden are beautiful.
The only thing is that the beds are not comfortable. But Barichara is just the best place in Colombia. Do the workshops!! I did the Rakú with Jaime and tejido indígena with Nirko which was soooo beautiful.

A gorgeous little hostel in Barichara

When looking at staying in Barichara lots of people highly recommended Tinto to us and having been I completely understand why. The hostel is gorgeous with a lovely view over Barichara and the surrounding hills. They provided free tea and coffee all day long as well as fruit in the morning.
The staff were really lovely and friendly as they offered us lots of advice of things to see in Barichara and where to eat, drink... It's really central, has a huge pool and plenty of hammocks to laze around in.
Would highly recommend staying here whilst in Barichara.

Nice view, decent rooms

Stayed here for two nights after coming from San Gil. The hostel is pretty nice, has a lot of amenities which is great considering the price. Mattresses were on the hard side, but that’s just me. I feel like the staff is a little too worried about the hostel itself, I’m sure they mean well but it can come across as annoying. Apparently there’s a curfew before 11 here, although they will kindly open the door for you regardless.

Best hostel in Barichara

That s the place we fell in love with the same moment we walked in. It's spacy (very, VERY spacy!) and beautiful (oh my, these flowers and colobri feeder!), everything is made with such love and care - we felt like home. This hostel recycles trash (there arent many places doing that), the kitchen is well equipped. You probably wont get hot water in the shower, but I woudnt consider it as a problem in this hot climat.

Cute hostel

Fine hostel close to the center (Barichara is tiny :p). The room with private bathroom (#1) was spacious and clean. The common areas (kitchen, seats outside) are good to use. The owners are helpful with tourist info on the surrounding area & buses etc. They do watch your every move, but they mean well. There’s a small book exchange (with strict rules :p) and a computer w internet you can use. Also, three very cute cats on the premises :)
