Idk what the other reviews says about amenities and being untidy. It is very understandable that this place doesn’t have great amenities, because this is a budget hostel.
It is pretty clean actually! I have read lots of HK hostel concerns about bed bugs, but I didn’t had any issues with it here. The staffs are great, and very accomodating too.
The small room is definitely perfect for me! Plus the location is very great, it’s just few minutes away from Victoria Harbour, HKMOA, and infront of bus and train stations. If I’ll travel to HK again, I’ll book this hostel again ;))

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room had a strong unpleasant smell that made it uncomfortable to stay in. The location inside the building is extremely complicated to find, especially for first-time visitors, and navigating the building felt confusing and unsafe at times.
This place is not suitable for families or anyone traveling with children, luggage, or expecting basic comfort. Overall, the experience did not match expectations, you get what you pay for, we would not recommend it.

Very small room with little space to store anything. Would be nice if instead of some poster there were shelves or something. You can store your luggage below the bed though.
Refrigerator works. Behind the refrigerator is an outlet that works when you're out – for everything else you need a keycard plugged in. We were given only one keycard even though we booked a double room. The keycard isn't NFC nor EMarine, so if one of us went out with it, the other couldn't plug it with some other card and had to stay without any light or power.
You have to explicitly ask for room cleaning, but the cleaning staff are nice about that. Bedsheets had some stains, but otherwise were okay. We were only given a single towel.
Bathroom is very small: you literally shower standing over the toilet (see attched photo). Toilet bowl had a stain on it. Some stuff in the bathroom was outright broken. Water heater works fine at least.
When checking out, there was nobody on the reception, so we couldn't get our deposit back and had to just leave the key there.
