According to a notice from the Hangzhou Municipal Traffic Management Department, the West Lake Scenic Area will implement odd-even license plate restrictions for passenger cars from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends and statutory holidays from September to November 2025. In addition to complying with the West Lake Scenic Area's odd-even restrictions, limited access will be implemented to the Lingyin District and Nanshan Road (from Yanggong Dike to Yuhuangshan). You must apply for a "West Lake Pass" one day in advance through channels such as "Police Uncle," Zhejiang Liban, or Alipay. This code allows you to enter the restricted areas. Please contact the hotel with any questions. Children must provide their ID card, household registration, or birth certificate at check-in.
