Beautiful stay!

The coolest place we could’ve stayed in Shangri-La! The building is so cosy and charming Tibetan Style. The rooms were really comfortable. and the owners are very kind and helpful. I would hightly reccommend. Thanks a lot :-)

Great hospitality in hotel with western standards

Great stay! The hotel is run by three Tibetan brothers, one of them speaks fluent English. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Instead of using Google for route to the hostel via the Chinese app Amap: search 'Shangri-La Yizhan Tibetan Style Boutique Inn'

Excellent location yet quiet, friendly and helpful hosts, great place to stay in Shangri-La

Very prompt replies on WeChat and the host picked us up from "Deqen Passenger Transport" bus station (迪庆藏族自治州客运). The hostel is located at the edge of the ancient town area where the roads are stone paved and cars aren't allowed to drive in. Yet it's short enough a walk after alighting from the car that having big luggage like us didn't find any problems. Also the host was very helpful to carry the heavier luggage. The place is quiet and homey and the host brothers are friendly and willing to help. Both Guishan Park (龟山公园) and Yueguang Plaza (月光广场) are just around the corner. Excellent location!
The room is a little small but not a big problem. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again should I go to Shangri-La City again.

Nice location, but small room

We only spent 1 night in this hotel but the location is really good, in the center of Shangrila. The owner is a nice women, speaking English and really helpful. We had a small room and the isolation was not that good. I think it's basically due to the wooden wall. The bathroom is only closed by a Tibetan curtain. it's full of good restaurants around for your breakfast. There is also a pick up service for free to the airport which is perfect.

Awsome, I will be back there!

First of all, thanks to Yi's hotel owners, a couples with cats. They helped us too much during time I stayed there. I travelled with low season so many shops closed, many thing happened. I got sick on the first day in Shangri-la with many activities after landed, he, the owner, prepared a cup of brown sugar for me, a warm heart even our conversation got many misunderstand because he speaks less English and I don't know Madarine,... 3 days 2 nights: many memories and the mark for whole trip in Yunnan, I miss them so much and will back again when I could because I have not yet go to the Tiger Leaping Gorge.
If you love cat, you will love this hotel ^^
