Good hotel.
I stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton Downtown for 21 days, and overall it was a very positive experience. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient for my work, and check-in was smooth thanks to Tajar and Henry, who were friendly, helpful, and professional.
Breakfast offered a good variety, and the experience was made even better by the warm and attentive staff. Special thanks to Rahman, Kathy, Nimla, Vina, and Jasmine for their hospitality. One small drawback was that omelets were not included in the breakfast and required an extra charge—having that included would have been a nice touch, especially for longer stays, as the scrambled and boiled eggs became a bit repetitive over time.
Housekeeping was scheduled every other day, with the option confirmed at check-in. Anna from housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room neat and comfortable. Initially, water bottles were not replaced on non-cleaning days, but after informing Tara, the duty manager, this was promptly resolved, and water was provided daily without issue.
Rupak, the night auditor, was very helpful in sorting out the pre-authorized amounts and assisting with the payment process. The concierge service was also excellent—Jim, I believe, was especially helpful.
Gym ,pool and the sauna was very handy. They also have laundry service but also a self service area. Which was very handy. It costs you 4 dollars for washing and 4$ for drying.
Overall, it’s a good hotel with a very friendly and professional team. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great central downtown location that's close to transit and popular spots. The highlight for my daughter and I is the breakfast. The beds are cozy, the views are good, and the staff are stellar. This was our 2nd summer in a row to visit and choose this hotel.

Staff were amazing - the people at the front desk were lovely, and housekeeping was awesome. I requested a microwave in advance and it was in the room when we checked it. Also a big shout out to Kateryna from housekeeping who was super helpful throughout our stay.
The facilities though were a bit weird. When we checked in we were told it was "newly renovated" but it didn't look like it was. The bathroom was strangely off-kilter: the toilet paper holder was too far from the toilet and was in a weird angle, the shower had no tub but it had a spout that was way too low, and you had to use the spout to adjust the water temperature. Once you switched to using the shower head you're stuck with the temperature of the water and have to revert back to the spout to readjust.
In any case, it had the amenities we needed, and the stay was pretty comfortable. The location is superb and super close to a lot of restaurants, Eaton Centre, and subway stations.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I didn’t try the breakfast since it was an added cost, which is pretty normal for Toronto. The area was good and convenient for getting around. Overall, I had a good stay and would consider staying here again.

Very warm and welcoming staff. The room was clean, the restaurant was nice. The pool area was very clean.
