Homey getaway

This was my second time at this cabin, the first time was in 2008. In the past year it has been acquired by new owners, but I wasn't disappointed. After booking, I asked a few questions concerning check-in and general rules, and was answered quickly. Walter, the man who is charge of the chalets is very knowledgeable and friendly, and more than helpful.
The grounds are currently under about 2 feet of snow, but all pathways are cleared. Cabins are beautiful, full of woodwork and have plenty of space for seating/sleeping/entertaining. Water pressure is great, beds are clean and comfortable.
It's the perfect getaway in the winter as it's close to amenities, and the summer time is delightful as well, as the cabins overlook the Baie Des Chaleurs.

Nice cabins by the bay

Walter is a very responsive and welcoming host. The season hadn’t really started and he had advised us well in advance that they were doing landscaping and given us the option of canceling our reservation but we decided to keep it nonetheless. The grounds were under construction but it really didn’t impact our stay and perhaps as a consequence, we had the entire property to ourselves. The cabins are rustic and very clean and spacious with pretty views onto the bay. After over a week of hotel stays, we appreciated having a place to call our own. At Walter’s recommendation we bought delicious lobster from the seafood store just minutes away. Very pleasant stay.

Un de nos meilleurs hébergements pour un tour québec/gaspésie

Très bon hébergement globalement. Les équipements fournis dans le châlet sont très nombreux (barbecue, torchons, passoire, bols, grands saladiers...) et cela fait plaisir quand on souhaite ne pas faire 100% de restaurant.
La literie était de très bonne qualité (coussins, matelas...). Le seul inconvénient pour le sommeil est la juxtaposition des chalets à la route.
Petit conseil, il faut vraiment appeler le gérant à son arrivée car il est difficile de trouver l'accueil des hébergements par soi-même.

Très joli!

Nous avions le chalet #5. Très petit mais très bien pour 2 personnes. L’endroit est très propre, le lit est confortable et c’est très tranquille.
Bien équipé mais quelques bémols: tout est extra petit! La table, le comptoir et l’évier. La réservoir d’eau chaude est petit alors ne prenez pas une douche de 15 minutes! Ce ne sont pas des choses majeures si vous ne chercher pas du luxe.
Il n’y a pas de porte de salle de bain. C’est un rideau donc il faut être a l’aise dans l’intimité!
Superbe vue et air marin garanties!!!

Bruit de la route insupportable la nuit

Nous avons passé récemment une nuit au chalet ne°3 et n’avons guère fermé l’oeil à cause du bruit de la route! Une voiture à grande vitesse toutes les deux minutes au milieu de la nuit et une toutes les minutes le matin...
Propreté limite (fin de saison?).
Avions fait confiance aux commentaires, sommes déçus.
