Nice quiet inn with comfortable accommodations

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave early for a ferry, so she made sure we got something for breakfast, along with coffee, before we left, even thought it was early.

Perfect base to explore…

There is not enough space here to say all the wonderful experiences we had during our four-day stay at the Olde Anchor B&B. The innkeeper, Mary, impressed us, accommodating our dog, Hedy, who balked at climbing stairs. She allowed us to set up out travel crate in a ground floor room that served as a library and sitting room. Without her hospitality we would have been hard pressed to continue our stay. Hedy spent the nights quietly tucked in. The Olde Anchor is comfortable: outside seating, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, spacious dining room. Mary loves dogs, and her feeling for animals expresses itself in her attention and affection for people. Oh, and breakfast is excellent. The Olde Anchor is the perfect base to explore PEI.

Best omelette ever!

Mary welcomed us with open arms and a level of hospitality that I truly admired. We were cycling and she took care of my wife’s ailments, which allowed us to sail through the rest of our trip. I had the best omelette ever, the balance was truly perfect.

Cozy B&B

My husband and I spent one night at this amazing bed &breakfast. It was the first time we stayed at a bed & breakfast but it won't be our last. If we had more vacation time we would have stayed here longer. Our hostess and owner Mary was so friendly and made sure we knew where everything was and made us feel at home. The breakfast she made for us the next morning was delicious and served at the farm table with another couple who were staying there.. If you love animals like we do , you will love her dog Danny. She has a beautiful deck with a barbecue outdoor kitchen and a hot tub guests can use. It really is a home away from home. I can't say enough about this place. You need to check it out.
