Stylish boutique hotel with authentic decor and modernized amenities!

Hotel Katuma hits all the marks for the type of place we prefer staying when visiting a large city. Great location outside the “tourist zone”within walking distance of authentic restaurants and nightlife, easy access to the transit system, welcoming staff, a small building with character, and modernized rooms with all the amenities you could want!

Amazing location on the Plateau (where hotels are limited) and the highlight was the super friendly staff, particular Adam who made us feel really welcome the entire time. Comfortable bed and clean rooms, we didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but will have to wait for next time.

Really nice room, in a sweet hotel that seems family-run, with absolutely excellent personalized service.
Comfortable bed, quiet at night, with very effective air conditioning.
(Our bathroom had a bathtub with a high step to get in, so be careful if that might be an issue for you.)
The location is perfect for exploring the nearby restaurants (we ate next door at Blue Nile - delicious! - and L’Express, just down the street), the shopping districts, and the parks, with easy access to downtown and Old Montreal as well.
Overall, very highly recommended, and I hope we visit Montreal again soon so we can stay here again.

We read all the reviews for this hotel and it’s true - a wonderful stay in every way. Adam was very attentive and deserves 5 stars himself!

Staff are more like concierge, very ready and willing to help with anything, from booking to valet and even carrying our bags up 3 flights of stairs (sidenote warning: this property is not accessible for those needing elevator). Room was clean and delightfully designed and waterfall shower + soaking tub were heavenly. Included shared balcony in quiet residential alley and plenty of space for bags and storage. Also very conveniently located short distance to orange subway line.
