Definitely 2-stars stay

Booked two rooms, the original rooms were not good. One smelt like fragrance covering up cigarette smoke and the AC in the other did not work. We moved to two different rooms, once with a kitchenette. The kitchenette room stunk and the AC was only slightly cold. The other new room was OK... I mean for 2 stars you get what you'd expect so we all squished in. The rooms are def old and worn. The furniture must be like 20 years old and you can tell. The shower head looked like it hadn't been cleaned and had a lot of scaling from water, yuck. For how much you pay I'd rather book a camp spot. The pool was obviously being renovated but the railings for the slide were a hazard since they weren't even attached and you could shake them. The pool has gross water marks and I bet hasn't been replaced or well maintained in many decades. The hot tub is old-school and hardly warm. We basically booked for our kiddos to have a water slide but regretted that decision. Would never stay again unless some major cleaning or renovations happen, especially for the price. Staff was great though! Not their fault at all by the sounds of it maybe poor management, high staff turnover, or owner?

Don’t Stay Here

We stayed here because of the waterslide and availability to bring our pet. To say it was gross is an understatement. The carpet stunk, the place was falling apart inside and out. The pool is probably the most disgusting with a film on top, old gum on the deck and the deck is just rough cement. The waterslide is only open two hours each day. The only positives were the front desk person was nice and the breakfast was decent. The room was so gross I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I dont like. Don’t stay here.

This is possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in and at an exorbitant price! It is 1950s style, dirty and with broken items. The building itself is badly kept up and dirty. I am really upset that I have to spend the night in this horrible room.

don't bother with this hotel

Sad rundown hotel that does not have functional water slide as advertised. Garbage was overflowing in the breakfast area by 9am but no one seemed too worried about emptying it the entire time we were at breakfast despite one employee walking by it a few times.

The room was large and had a fridge which was good. The towels were dingy and old. We had to pay a $200 damage deposit which was surprising. This deposit won't be returned for 2 to 5 days.
