The balcony on 3rd floor is just some outdoor space with a green tarp around it.
The room was great though. Very clean. Couch was comfortable
Elevators were very slow. One out of order so we just did the stairs
Perfect location for comedy festival and so close to the harbour front

The staff were very helpful and apologetic for the inconveniences, over the 3 days of our stay we were put on the 7th floor and elevators never worked! We heard the issue has been going on for past couple of months.
The staff offered to help us with our suitcases but honestly I felt bad letting an older man or a very young girl to carry my luggages up and down.
We have been trying to resolve this issue with Hotels.com!

Both elevators broke down while my family (1.5 year old twins requiring a double stroller) and a 5 year old were staying on the 5th floor. We were either stuck upstairs and unable to enjoy the waterfront or we had to lug everything and everyone up 5 flights of stairs. On top, at 9:30pm after the kids were asleep a false fire alarm required everyone to evacuate. Via stairs. When bringing these concerns forward, the initial suggestion was to take $20 off of our $1000 bill. Couldn’t use the pool because of the elevator and our family couldn’t walk up and down any more stairs at that point.

We loved our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. Bill on the front desk gave us such a warm welcome. He was friendly and responsive, and after a long journey with a 1 year old, he made us feel instantly welcome.
Our room was large and bright - plenty of space for two and a baby. The room was very clean and I found the decor to be quite modern and practical.
The hotel is right on the harbour front, so you have access to the whole city via the beautiful boardwalk.
We had our breakfast at the Wired Monk cafe nearby, prior to heading to the brilliant Discovery Centre (amazing for kids of all ages).
We stayed in 5 places during our trip to the Maritimes, and this was our favourite.

Was a wonderful room and bed was so comfy. Bathroom was out of date but was still fine. Just didn’t match the rest of the hotel. We loved it. It’s a great location and so convenient to all that the harbour front has to offer! We will definitely be booking here again!
