Very disappointing stay – poor service and lack of care

I was very disappointed with my stay at Coop Apartment in Sofia. When we arrived, the entrance door was broken, and we had to wait about 25 minutes until someone came to check it. There was no coffee provided in the apartment, the bathrooms were not very clean, and overall the place did not feel well maintained.
On top of that, I accidentally left behind a pair of sneakers. I contacted them multiple times by phone, but they didn’t bother to look for them or even show any real interest in helping me. The lack of professionalism and customer care was extremely frustrating.
I would not recommend this property, and I hope management takes these complaints seriously and improves both their facilities and their attitude towards guests.

We returned to this hotel because we had a good experience before, but this time was disappointing. Despite choosing it specifically for its closed garage, we were told there was no space for our motorcycles — yet we later saw many empty spots. Thankfully, a kind Belgian couple shared their space with us, or we wouldn’t have known what to do. The hotel staff was unhelpful, and we were even charged 6 euros for a parking spot we shared. Sadly, this stay changed our previously positive opinion.

Terrible for a 4 star hotel

The check in was very slow and unwelcoming, the room was large and very nice but the air conditioning was unsatisfactory. Our friends had to change rooms twice due to air conditioning not working, the breakfast was so boring, items were not replaced, tables weren’t cleared. The facilities are not in line with a 4star hotel, but the rates are!. It is not properly staffed at night with one person attending the restaurant, reception and bar, that is usually closed due to lack of staff. The hotel is old, dull and lacking atmosphere . I would never recommend as there are many better in Sofia

More suited to budget groups than independent travellers, extremely disappointing

Extremely poor value for money, seriously pretentious. The reception staff were negative, unhelpful & inexperienced, with no evidence of customer service training. The breakfast team were very inexperienced in clearing tables, replenishing food and coffee cups. The hotel had a number of very noisy groups. The air-condition was ineffective. The hotel was a long walk from the centre; the restaurant & the bar were not open. One member of reception staff was absent on duty one evening, leaving the hotel wide open to strangers. The only positive was the laundry service but I believe that was outsourced.
