Exactly right
A really lovely and relaxing day.
Jahdal was a delight and went out of his way to make our day special.
The vibe was relaxed.
The rosé was chilled and flowing.
The food was delish.
The washroom was clean and well appointed.
10/10, no notes!

We enjoyed our stay at the Rosedon - it more than met our expectations
Before our one week trip to Bermuda, we carefully researched accommodation and after reading about the hotel, including reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided on the Rosedon; it lived up to our expectations. There were several room options with different price points, so we chose the one that worked for our needs, including our budget.
We accepted the transportation from the airport to the hotel, and while an additional fee, it was well worth it to know we didn't need to figure out the taxi system after a late-arriving flight. Check-in was fast and we were quickly shown our room, which was close to the pool. Our first reaction was that was spacious and well decorated in bright colours befitting the location. The room had plenty of space for storage, and had a fridge, a tea pot, and a coffee pot that made exceptional coffee (a SMEG - that took some time to figure out, including an internet search, but we figured it out eventually). Coffee was replaced daily, and there were several types of tea. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent shower, and there was a safe in the room. The wifi is stable, and we enjoyed having seating outside our room with a view of the pool, which was wonderful for a drink, podcast listening, and reading.
The pool is well maintained, with daily cleaning, and when we were there, it was not busy at all. There are covered areas available, and there were always towels on the deck chairs. The grounds are beautiful, and while there isn't a fitness centre, walking the grounds was the next best thing.
The response to any requests, milk for coffee, ordering a drink to the room, obtaining a safe (which wasn't initially in the room) and ice was quick, and only a phone call to the desk.
There are several food options at the hotel, including the restaurant Huckleberry's, Bagels & Brews (great place for breakfast), and Clarabelle's (primarily pizza). We tried each of these options, some more than once, and they were all worth experiencing. None of our meals were included, although there are different plans with meals that can be chosen when booking depending on what you are interested in. We wanted the flexibility to try lots of food places in Hamilton, which we did!
The overall location of the hotel is excellent and it was within easy walking to the downtown, the bus station, and a food market. There is a sidewalk from the Rosedon to downtown (the same can't be said for all of the area) which made walking safe. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Some thoughts, the room needed more lighting, especially at night. For Room 17, the corner under the heat pump should have a lamp. Another option is the ceiling fan could have a light. The floor was often wet when we returned to the room, it doesn't dry quickly after housekeeping and left dirty areas when we walked on it, and is slippery, so a falls hazard. A simple wiping off would prevent accidents. More pillows would be a good thing; the bed itself, while low, was comfortable, but the pillows are soft and we needed to use the decorative pillows to sleep on - we should have asked but extra pillows are not unusual in hotels of this caliber.
Overall we had an excellent one week stay - and enjoyed our time at the Rosedon Hotel immensely.

Poolside BBQ - amazing food but anaemic ambience
Attended Poolside BBQ on Thursday (Aug 6). Food was vey much ’on point’ but the ambiance was lacking mainly I guess since it was extremely empty. Maybe we came too early. We were there at 6:30 pm. Stayed until 7:30 pm. Not sure if it was promoted enough. Hope this feed back helps.

Best island BBQ in Bermuda
This poolside BBQ was everything and more. From the serene and lush gardens, ambiance and quality of food and drinks we were all extremely impressed and enjoyed this event very much. Will be back soon!
