From past to present!

An auld heritage building saved through a combination of historic romance and visionary intellect. The hotel is a view into the past whilst being part of a bigger local project to provide a natural and sustainable outdoor experience for generations to come. Great for a two day break with areas for walks, large gardens, spaces rooms and an excellent restaurant (try the 4 course set meal with wine paring) and cocktail bar. The options of the local beers, 5 star meal with recommended tiramisu, followed up by negronis put me straight to bed up the now famous wonky stairs with a feeling of warmth and homeliness.

Great location for the maasmechelen village ... 2 min walk ...
We have price the 3 course evening menu ... not disappointed it was very good.
Very nice room (312) and very comfortable bedding

Was very surprised when I entered the room, on this weekend it was my birthday and on the bed was a card with the best wishes for my birthday with confetti and balloons and a little attention, I did not expect that, also it was good fresh in the room which was lovely because that day was very hot outside.

Vegan options and friendly staff!

Tonight delicious eaten in the hotel, vegan was no problem. Very friendly service by Mohammed and compliments to the cook!

Nice hotel, but very noisy.

The hotel is nicely located and looks beautiful. The rooms are fine, beds and shower are good. There is a safe and minibar. The air conditioning works great! Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a package with free wine, water, salty and sweet snacks, which was a nice side effect. It is just a pity that there is a ‘loose’ make-up mirror, so you do not have the right height. Better this mirror could be attached to the wall at eye level. The tissues were gone, but were not replenished.
Breakfast is good, but the products are particularly poorly replenished. Empty bread baskets, eggs, fruit: if you had run out and reported it to an employee, it took a very long time (about 20 minutes) for it to be replenished. This was like this both days we were there. This is very annoying, because you still want to be able to continue on time. We dined 1 evening at the hotel, which was delicious, but also very pricey (eg € 11.50 for 1 bottle of water of 0.75 liters and € 24.50 for a plate with 5 asparagus with egg and butter sauce).
Our room was under the restaurant and therefore we had a lot of noise (sliding furniture, stupid, loud talking / screaming). This continued until 4 o'clock the first night, after which a group of people outside continued to scream! After we reported this, the nuisance was limited to 00.00 the second night, after which it was quiet.
Because of the noise in the hotel we would not go here again soon.
