The best hotel in Ostend

Perfect hotel: its location near the sea, close to shops, the center... the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms... the terrace of the suite is fantastic... the breakfast is the most provided I could see. Everything's on top at the Cocoon Hotel. And try dining on site... it's delicious. The 5 stars go to the staff who manage and work for this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you soon.

close to perfection

Every year our group of 4 couples goes somewhere on midweek, but nowhere did we find the perfection like here at Carla and Bjorn of Hotel Cocoon. Neat fresh rooms, heavenly rain shower, blissful beds and then that service and personal welcome despite the number of rooms you get all the attention. Breakfast has a never before seen choice of appetizers, bread, sandwiches, fruits and desserts also the bubbles were not lacking! We chose an evening with dinner and that was really the best of the midweek, beforehand even (a free) creamy asparagus soup and the boss who is in the kitchen also came to ask a few times if everything was satisfactory.

Lovely place, so nice and cosy and we received a very warm welcome upon arrival.
Easy to park, calm neighbourhood, close to the city and the waterfront.
Lovely breakfast and the very cosy lobby with a bar.

Back away from home.

A few years ago we went to the Bellino in Kortrijk. The people have moved. To Ostend. Address found and reserved. Never sailed badly in Kortrijk and here the same was true. Fantastically good food. First an aperitif with pata negra. Melt on the mouth. Then the main course. Pasta Cocoon for me and Cod fillet for the woman. Honestly, after all this time, those operators have not lost anything in quality but gone further in excellence!
