Parking was around the block and expensive, but that is to be expected from a capital city. Avoid coming by car.

Salty service. Security concerns and Bills

Stayed at the standard last weekend. Booked 5 rooms
I have complained to them about various things and heard nothing
I’ll concentrate on the worst parts
My sisters room did not lock for the whole stay despite them attempting to fix it
Some rooms check in were late for us to find rooms not cleaned properly dirty razor heads in bathroom etc
Extremely rude service from a waitress in rooftop restaurant. An attempt to add a bill onto ours and when we explained that was not ours, she acted like she was doing us a favour not charging us. She was rude on many occasions
This hotel is in the middle of no where. We picked it knowing that because standard london is so nice. But actually the trade off is not worth it. Just stay closer in town. Not here

Didn’t expect such a disastrous experience from the Hyatt group hotel

Staff didn’t explain hotel facilities during check-in.
Drain flies flying in room.
Please check your bill upon checkout for any wrongly charged items.
Addressing the customer in wrong name! This is ridiculous!

Courteous staff

The hotel is in a CBD business neighbourhood yet close to the city centre and popular attractions that you can reach in 10-15 minutes. The north station provides direct trains for day trip to Bruges, Ghent etc. A benefit was you would always get place on train to sit considering trains stop at North first and then at popular touristy central/south station.
The staff at the front desk were always nice, chatty and courteous - something you see very rarely in Europe hotels. They had a porter (Joe) who was very kind. Again a rare experience in Europe hotels.
The rooms were of decent size (considering business hotel), but were clean and new. The rooftop bar had amazing views of the city.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
