Serious safety issues, unauthorized charge, and unprofessional conduct

I am writing this review to warn other travelers about my experience at Hotel Windsor, which was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially as I was traveling with my family.
After checking out on 24 April 2026, the hotel charged my bank card an additional amount without my authorization. This charge was applied after checkout, without any prior notice, discussion, or consent. No invoice, receipt, or clear explanation was provided.
When I returned to the hotel to ask for clarification, the situation became worse. The staff failed to give any clear or professional explanation and instead spoke to me in a rude, intimidating, and bullying manner. The way the staff handled a legitimate question about billing was completely unacceptable.
In addition to the billing and service issues, there are serious safety concerns at this hotel. The stairs are very narrow, making the property unsuitable for families. More alarmingly, there were open and exposed electrical connections that were easily accessible, posing a real electric shock hazard for both adults and children. This is especially worrying when staying with a young child.
The overall lack of transparency, poor customer service, and disregard for basic safety standards make this hotel one I cannot recommend. Based on my experience, I strongly advise other travelers — particularly families — to be cautious and consider alternative accommodations.

Good for location and price

Hotel in a great location to do a few days in Brussels, of course given the price the demands must be limited, the amenities are basic there is no air conditioning, mini bar and telephone to talk to the reception, bathroom a little 'small but renovated, good value for money

Friendly Hotel

Clean hotel, good bedding, welcoming and friendly staff.
The room lacked sockets and bedside lamps.

Sketchy place

Very sketchy place. No safe and wanted our keycards without reasons when we left our room. The door looked like someone have tried to broke into the room. Very low budget room. Bad service.
