An oasis if calm and tranquility
An stunning tranquil oasis. From the moment we stepped foot inside every team member greeted us, wished us good morning/have a nice day. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole hotel was spotless, smelt divine and was utterly charming. There's a gorgeous chapel with stain glass windows which you can wander round.
There's little places to sit everywhere, plants and flowers all around you. Breakfast was delicious every morning, so much choice, lots of healthy options.
The spa was spotless, we used the pool and saunas - fabulous facilities.
An amazing hotel, peaceful, tranquil - worthy of it's place in the LHW.

Excellent stay at the Botanic
Botanic Sanctuary is a great place to stay with an excellent and friendly top service, right in the center of Antwerp, near the shops, museums and historic center. Laura and here colleagues made us feel welcome and gave us all the imformation we needed. We had a very delicious dinner at the Hidden Garden restaurant.

A monastery cell in a monastery
Price for the room: 875€ without breakfast. Small: you can just around the bed. No fresh fruit or flowers, TV hangs to the left of the bed, hardly any closet space, no decoration just a wooden panel.

Vibrant Sanctuary
Excellent stay unless hotel does not provide you a room facing the street with the tram and traffic. Vibrations of the building and sound are undecent. Moskitos can be unpleasant as well.

Pretty much perfect…
We stayed here for a night. It is beautiful hotel, tucked into historic grounds right in the middle of the city. The rooms are lovely, spacious and really well done, with gorgeous colours that give them a lot of warmth and character. The decoration throughout is very elegant, we liked it a lot.
The wellness area is a standout, especially for a city hotel. The pool is huge and the sauna is great. Though the lift up to the wellness floor is a bit small, and the steam bath wasn’t quite working during our visit, we enjoyed the spa a lot.
Breakfast deserves a special mention, because it’s close to perfect. It’s beautifully organised, with loads of variety, and the included à la carte menu of little plates lifts it well above the usual hotel spread. Easily a highlight of the day.
Service is very good in general, with just a bit of room to improve, mainly around the check-in and check-out.
The one question mark is the price. At over 700 euros a night it’s a serious rate, and it might be a touch too much. But all in all, it is a wonderful place to stay at. Bravo to the whole hotel team!
