All we wanted!

Hotel had very friendly and supportive staff! We arrived very late but were still able to get a drink before going to bed!
Weather was great and we could sit outside the lovely hotel garden, so nice!
Room was very clean and equipped with AC. All interior in great condition!
In the hotel corridor there are so many nice paintings, we liked them!
Breakfast was great had several options, chef also prepared omelette as requested!
Thanks for a great stay!

Not bad, quite good VFM

Situated in a suburb of Leibnitz, a few km away from the center. There is a reasonably large parking area opposite the hotel.
Check-in was fine: this is a restaurant/hotel, and business is slow in winter – I am pretty sure I was the only guest there….
Room was nice overall, reasonably roomy. Double bed, bedside tables, two chairs and a small coffee table. Large wardrobe with tons of space. Spacious shower and toilet.
TV was a largeish (~40”) with many channels, including CNBC and CNN in English. Annoyingly, it was wall-mounted in a way that blocked off HDMI inputs - RGB only left. Lighting could be improved – yellow light throughout, but in place of bedside lamps there are wall-mounted lamps which are a poor alternative.
Room has central heating, which was not particularly effective (I guess if the hotel is fuller the heat is turned up…). Also an a/c, which is unusual. Wifi worked fine,
Breakfast was better than described – it’s an upgraded continental with a few extras. If you’re not there in summer, though, don’t expect the buffet breakfast that is shown in the pictures.
Overall not a bad choice if you need to stay in the area. I didn't take any pictures of the room, the website is fairly accurate. I was given a double room despite having booked a single.

Einfaches Hotel

In die Jahre gekommenes familiengeführtes Hotel, das Zimmer war klein aber mit einem riesigen Fernseher und Klimaanlage, das Bett war sauber und bequem. Das im Biergarten zu uns genommene Abendessen war reichlich und lecker. Weiterhin geb es ein reichhaltiges Frühstück, auf Anfrage wurde einem auch Rührei zubereitet. Als Geschäftsreisender vollkommend ausreichend, würde ich wieder buchen.
