Fantastic place to stay!

For our stay (winter sports) we ended up at Rocks in Schladming. We had a beautiful spacious two bedroom apartment. The owners (family) are really super friendly and accessible for any questions you may have. They had prepared a nice bottle of wine and homemade jam.
The stay is about ten minutes walk from the Planai West ski lift to the Planai and Hochwurzen. Super handy that there is also the matching ski locker here, so you don't have to drag stuff with you. Possible rental of ski equipment is also possible at the Planai West.
There is a parking space at the apartment and since the Hauptplatz is about 15 minutes walk we left the car nice and nice.

Untrustworthy and unreliable place. Want your vacation to be ruined?

It may seem that the place is pretty from the pictures, but we never had a chance to see it. I must warn you all that you should not use this property and rather look for a RELIABLE one elsewhere. The owner seems to have no professional behavior. This place cancelled our reservation (from their side) without telling us a word just the evening before the day of our arrival (and we learned only from booking.com). Additionally, we have made already pre-arrival check in on their property's website and got normal reply with all the "thank you ..." - and yet they still cancelled the booking just few hours after we did it. They did not respond on our written messages. No answer on our phone calls! Did they want to ruin our vacation? Probably. This was a sign of malicious behavior and you all should be aware of this. Coming here to this place - you would be under a high risk that your vacation would be ruined! We were lucky to find out the day before ... but maybe next time it will be you to find out that your booking was cancelled only after long trip there, or after your arrival. What a disaster. There are more friendy owners nearby ... because we just called one and got support immediatelly.

A Wonderful Stay

We stayed at the Rocks for 6 night in August, 2 adults+2 teenagers.
The building is new, the apartment was well equipped and immaculate. The location is great: minutes from the local pool, city center and exists from Schladming.
Last but definitely not least, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful: restaurant and local sites recommendations, laundry, doctor, just ask.
We plan to go Austria during the winter, and Rocks is our first choice.

Exzellent! Tolles Appartement

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Das Appartment ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und sehr großzügig. Liebevoll gestalteter Garten mit Ausblick auf die Schladminger Bergwelt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Schönes Apartment Schladming

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr stylisch und modern eingerichtet. Skilift war in 5 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.
Tanja und Andreas waren beide super nett und konnten uns gute Tips für lokale Restaurants geben.
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
