Great summer vacation in a feel-good hotel

Lovingly designed and decorated hotel with beautiful large rooms with a balcony and a very spacious bathroom. Our "Mountain View" room had a magnificent view of the Dachstein massif and the Schladming area; relaxation begins with this view. The Stocker owner family is very present, chats, is happy to give tips, and takes care of various matters with the entire team - I would like to thank you sincerely for organizing mattress toppers for my bed so quickly. In addition to the extremely friendly hosts and staff, we were particularly impressed by the delicious, varied food and the beautiful wellness area. It was great to cool off in the infinity pool after a hike or to relax in the indoor pool and the great relaxation rooms on a rainy day. (We did not use the sauna because of the heat wave). The massage we booked was also very pleasant. The Hochwurzen summit lift is just a few steps away from the hotel and various hiking buses start from here. So you could leave your car in the hotel parking lot. With the Schladming-Dachstein Card, which you receive upon arrival at the hotel (or on your mobile phone), you get the surrounding mountain lifts and hiking buses for free, along with many other activities. Our conclusion: A super relaxing vacation. We would love to come back and recommend Hotel Waldfrieden without reservation. Many thanks and best regards to the Stocker family and the entire team.

Fantastic hotel and prime location

What a fantastic hotel and prime location.
Nice rooms (mine had beautiful sunrises and great views), food in the morning and evening is really great and what are the people friendly. My parents have been coming here for over 15 years and I visited them this year in July. We have made fantastic trips and you have a summercard included at the hotel (entrance cable cars, buses etc).
I will definitely go back here and then with my husband.

TOP HOLIDAYS IN A TOP HOTEL

:We have previously stayed here for several holidays with the family. Now for the first time with the new Wellness and outdoor pool. Yeah, I love it. Perfect location, varied meals, super friendly. We can only recommend very strongly.

Absolutely perfect stay

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and a special thanks to Mr. Stocker, the owner, whose warmth and kindness truly stood out. The spa area and mesmerizing outdoor pool with stunning views were pure bliss after skiing. Ski-in/ski-out access, spotless rooms, and outstanding food made everything flawless. Highly recommended! ⛷️‍♀️

Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, rooms with great views of Dachstein, there is an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, some saunas and a very nice relaxation room,
A 2-minute walk from the hotel is the Hochwurzen valley station and the bus station
