A dream vacation with two wonderful hosts

We were two families with kids, ages 7-14. Andy and Lorraine were *extremely* friendly and very attentive to our needs, and helped taylor a perfect vacation for us. The surroundings are astonishing for hiking, biking, and activities for kids. I am sure it's also great for winter sports (although we were there in August) Andy and Lorraine are very knowledgable and have a good understanding of what activity fits the weather and the wishes and needs of the guests. We are sure to return!

Austrian Alpine Adventure - the place to stay...

We just came back from an amazing week with Andy and Lorraine (and Petzl!) we took my 11 year old Son for his second time - he loved every minute. Snow boarding, Skiing, we did a great 'Kletersteig' (climbing up rock, wires and pegs up a mountain gorge clipped to a safety wire), spent the night in a mountain hut with a group of friends, got thrashed at UNO.. and started to progress our Ski Touring skills for a future plan..Oh and the NY fireworks were spectacular as was the decent off the Dachstein on the roof (!) of the cable car.. (left hand queue - don't miss the 'Where Eagles Dare' moment!!).
The options for adventure in the immediate vicinity are endless, regardless of your skills and experience of Alpine adventures, there is plenty for the total novice to those preparing for their Mountain Guides assessments! Led by Andy and Lorraine (both mountain leaders and professional adventure guides) they will either deliver the exact package you want and are capable of, or they can give you the head start with the know how, the geography, the contacts and the language to make your adventure an unforgettable experience for everyone. Thanks for the perfect start to a New Year!!

Best Place to Stay!!!

I was able to stay at Austrian Alpine Apartments a few times. Every time I was treated like gold! Not only did they give me advice on where to go and play in the outdoors, they would come with me. it is a welcoming place where you feel at home and make fast friends!

A truly wonderful week

We can only endorse what has already been said.
A fantastic location, a great apartment, superb hosts and a 'character' of a dog.
We spent the week doing some challenging but very rewarding trekking and still managed to fit in some 'touristvil'. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and so many options & alternatives if plan 'a,' is not possible. With two fantastic guilds you are always in good hands.
The only problem we now have is what time of year to return and which activities to take on.

Awesome skiing

We have spent one week at Austrian Alpine Apartments with my friends this February. The house was built 2 years ago, so it is in great condition, well-equipped.
Our hosts were awesome, really helpful and nice.
Re the location - it is definitely not next to any ski piste, but by a 5 mins drive, you can get to lots of great pistes.
I would recommend it for friends, families and smaller groups. Great choice!
