Business conference hotel in city center...

Excellent service, interesting environment, placed in city center, great choice for business events, very good food and a lot of it...
Helpful staff everywhere (no request is too hard for them - like in te period of reservation - due changes as result of client needs), they pay attention to small details in full-filling guest wishes and create enjoyable staying...
Recommended also to families with small children - city center there around and no need to drive around...

Return trip to the Stadthotel

This place is still very comfy, convenient and efficient. Staff are as friendly as ever.
This time, we brought our 12 month old baby along, and despite the hotel giving a 'business' vibe they had all the amenities needed for little ones. In fact, the cot bed they gave us was better than most other places we have stayed.
We also ate in the restaurant this time, and the food was very good and quite well priced. Well cooked, and not too much waiting.
I think the place had also been decorated since last time we stayed, and our room felt less tired.

A lovely surprise!

We came here on business, although we were travelling with our 13 year old daughter. The rooms are simple with all the basics you require. As we were here on a Monday we could not dine and the #1 Restaurant in Pinkafeld because it was closed. So we dined at the hotel restaurant. It was delightful. The celery soup is to die for. Smooth and so flavoursome. The same goes for the Austrian Clear Soup. For main course we had Trout and it was perfectly cooked. Crispy skin and succulent with toasted almonds. For desert we enjoyed sharing the chocolate mousse and the nougat dumpling. We would certainly dine in this restaurant when next we visit.

this is an interesting place... it is clean, service is good - the boss himself however is the most eloquent person I have ever met in a hotel and I had been in many top level hotels - but everything is kind of average or slightly above. When you walk through the hotel it looks like somebody takes care of the place but everywhere it looks like a female touch is missing. There are pictures but the decoration and the interior has a strong tendency towards functional. But nevertheless a nice place to stay for a night or two.

Good all-rounder but needs some attention

A very solid and bright building right on the main road through the town. Lots of parking, and easy to find.
My general impression is that although it has all the essentials, and some good extras, it lacks some finesse due to not a lot of business and no competition. For example, guests have free use of the spa (jacuzzi, sauna, heat treatments etc,) which is excellent but rooms were a bit tired and hadn't been aired in a while. Staff were friendly, if a little bit slow at times. As you can expect in this small town, do expect to practice some German on occasion.
Rooms were large and pretty standard. Breakfast was good, and as were we the only guests for at least one night, it was cooked to order - as well as the usual buffet.
It cost 88 euros per night including breakfast, so a very good price, especially considering no charge for parking or for the spa. With some attention to the slightly tired air the place had, it could have scored five.
