Great, family-run hotel

We just spent a few days on the motorcycles and fortunately ended up at the Hotel Traube as a “base camp”. It's a great family run hotel with incredibly lovable, friendly and helpful operators and staff. The breakfast was super extensive and the food in the evening was extremely delicious. We had booked HP and there was a good selection of different, super delicious dishes every day (4 course menu).
It should be mentioned in particular that they even reacted to the severe lactose intolerance of my motorcycle colleague and even got extra lactose-free milk for breakfast. All you can say is thank you and praise!
All in all an absolute recommendation! We will definitely come back on the next motorcycle tour!
PS: I didn't use the wellness area myself but my colleague was delighted

Does not meet the expectations of a hotel in the offered 4-star category.

Expectations for a 4-star hotel were not met. Upon entering the guesthouse, the worn entrance area is noticeable. The ambiance appears stark and functional, lacking the charm one would expect from this category of hotel.
In the dining room, there were multiple flies during dinner as well as breakfast. Additionally, a skin had formed on one of the sauces, which did not create a fresh impression. Upon arrival, there was no drink or water provided in the room.
Furthermore, the room was quite loud due to traffic noise from the street. Particularly disappointing was that despite having booked half board, we were initially offered a table in the bar area instead of the actual restaurant area.
Overall, we expected significantly more comfort, service, and attention for the guests given the hotel category.

The restaurant is excellent. The food was sooo delicious and the Service so sweet & friendly. My son and I got something to eat after the hike, although the kitchen had already been closed for 45min.
We would love to come back:)

Stopover

On the way to the Engadine I made a stopover in Pfunds and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and very positive. Super friendly staff, very nice rooms and excellent cuisine.
