Welcome at the Faulenzerhotel! Our hotel is situated in the heart of "Waldviertel" (the north-western part of Lower Austria).

Relaxing
We were at the hotel for 1 night and enjoyed the stay very much.
Despite a last-minute booking, we were still able to get a room with a balcony. The staff was very friendly and the entire hotel is very clean. There is also a wellness area, which we did not use, however.
For dinner, we enjoyed a 4-course menu as part of "Moments of Taste." The food was exquisite and every course was a delight. The cuisine is definitely of "award-winning quality." The breakfast also offered something for every taste.
We ate in the quiet and very pleasant inner courtyard. This was used by only a few guests, which surprised us a lot.
In the afternoon there was cake, yogurt, and fruit (included in the price); coffee must be ordered and paid for separately.
The hotel is located in a very quiet area and is about a 10-minute drive from Zwettl.
Beautiful hikes can be taken directly from the hotel.
We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Dear little fine hotel, offers everything you need. Great staff, good food and super quiet location, just great to relax. Beautiful sights in the area. Really coming down.

Great short stay
We really enjoyed our short stay.
On arrival we were greeted very friendly. After a short hike we spent the afternoon in the wellness area.
In the evening we were spoiled with a very good meal. At this point, praise to the kitchen.
Would definitely come back!

Everything fits, from booking to departure- THANKS
From the booking (by phone) to the departure, everything, indeed everything was superb.
The reception team was very competent and endeavoured. Friendliness seems to come first in this hotel anyway...
We arrived well before 15.00 and even had the luck that our room has just finished.
After checking in, we went to the restaurant in the hotel to have lunch comfortably.
The roast pork with potato dumplings and warm bacon cabbage salad was a poem.
Afterwards we went to the wellness area for a “lazy”...
Indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, great sunbeds inside and outside - what need more...
Since it was so nice and warm through the sun, we could also enjoy the garden with the great loungers. This tranquility was wonderful...
After strenuous “wellnesses” then to dinner hat from what is conjured up there. The waiters all very friendly and all wishes were fulfilled. Food was a poem.
After a night- yes it was slept very well in the room then an excellent perfect breakfast which left nothing to be desired...
Then a walk through the village and wellness...
You can’t forget the vital snack in the afternoon either, it’s really fitting.
So, we will come back, that much is already certain today. Everything worked out!
