Nice, quiet hotel. Good staff.

The food in the restaurant and the wine selection were impressive. Competent, friendly staff! Absolutely good value for money.
The roast beef with onions and the fried porcini mushrooms were simply delicious! We would happily come back a fourth time.

Great place for lunch in a quiet street of the busy mail street in Leibnitz

Great place to sit outside and enjoy their daily offers and or Steirisches specialities: Having had a big breakfast in our Hotel this was just a stop for a light lunch. We were assailed by great aromas from people in front and behind us who has great looking cooked local dishes. We could only mange salads, very tasty but only side-salad size not main dish. Great setting and obviously where the 'elegant' Leibnitzers like to eat.

Clean&big&tasty

We stayed here for 1 night, the price for 4 people is 252€ with breakfast included, the rooms are very clean and big, you have big tv and good programs. Breakfast is like ''all you can eat'' and it's really good. Only thing that i didn't gave 5 stars was that we booked hotel on booking.com and when we called the hotel thatwe are arriving he told us that they are not working... when we arrived the receptionist was in sleep clotches and he was sleeping.

Great old Post Hotel with accomodation and excellent food

I had lunch here with two friends who where visiting Steiermark with me. Looking for an 'Austrian' place for lunch we were recommended the Old Post Hotel. We had lunch sitting outside and luckily got the last table. The food was very very good. I had the days special which was chicken broth with small noodles and then a robust tasty goulash. In my opinion goulash is always supreme in Austria. My friends had Steinpilze soup, which was thick and tasted and smelt from a rich aroma of Steinpilze or in English porcini mushrooms.

Very nice hotel

Nice hotel in the center of Leibnitz with excellent food. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Rooms are not that new any more but cosy. The surrounding area with with its nature and wine is worth a visit!
