Pleasant cabin atmosphere - good food

The Krummholzhütte at Hauser Kaibling at 1,857 m altitude is located right next to the cable car, in one of the most beautiful skiing and hiking areas in Austria. In summer, as in winter, this cabin invites you to linger and enjoy.
Daniel Mairamhof and his team promise a cosy cabin atmosphere and excellent food, the menu menu offers an extensive selection of local dishes and the obligatory ski water tastes really good.
The restaurant offers a great view, with a bright, modern alpine wood inventory where you feel very comfortable. The service staff is very friendly and well laid out, we ordered Almburger and steak sandwich, very nicely served and very good taste, also ok from the price-performance ratio.

Air upwards

Unfortunately, the level in the Krummholzhütte has changed a lot. As a houseguest with HP, the food is probably not so important. At least the Cordon bleu was more of a shoe sole. Even the dinner the day before tasted like a ready meal. Additionally, served unkindly and served by very unfriendly staff. Too bad actually, if you are already lucky enough to be able to run such a beautiful hut in such an incredibly beautiful area.

Krumm! Best in Amadé

The food and the service is simply amazing. We visited Krumm 4 times this week and everything we ordered was so tasty! Definitely should visit the place when in Schladming or surrounding.
The last day I ve hurt my wrist, they took care of it without question. Thank you guys so much

Clear recommendation

It was great! Great food. Great service!
Daniel and his team are very helpful.
The view from the dining room is breathtaking.
The journey in the nostalgic gondola is an experience :).
Highly recommended even in summer.
We will definitely be back :)

Not very welcoming

Check-in was done in a complete rush without any further explanation, food quality was okay but way too heavy food for dinner, staff was not overly friendly. All in all, we did not feel welcome at all and the room (one of the new ones) is heavily overpriced! Been there some years ago and the atmosphere was completely different - very sad!
