Super 3 star hotel!!
We are as a family
traveled with a small dog, spent one night there and booked directly with the hotel and not on hotel portals.
Dinner was very good, we could choose between 2 dishes.... A vegetarian dish was also there. There was also an appetizer and dessert as well as the possibility to help yourself to the salad bar. Only drinks were extra.
Varied good breakfast buffet.
The rooms were clean and we had a large balcony overlooking the Zugspitze.
Very friendly and accommodating staff.
The only thing we had to complain about were the pillows, these were unfortunately not good at all. Hard-shrunk filling....
In the overall result we would definitely recommend this place and we would love to come back!

Good spot for wintersport
Perfect; Restaurants and rental companies on walking distance (also bus stop if you want) and on 5 minute drive to several ski areas.
Room was large with a cozy bed and very modern bathroom and separate toilet. Even a walk in closet. The pillow of the bed was way to soft. Breakfast was fine. We loved the sauna area, very calming with enough options. Be aware you have to ask upfront (30 minutes) to start the sauna. It is not on all day. There is also a drying room for the wintersport gear.
There was enough parking space at the hotel but with all the snow and ice not very good accessible, strewing the car park would be good. Note that on Wednesday they have a rest day (no diner).
There is a small bar at the hotel with enough choice for drinks, although the price on the cart is not the same as the price you have to pay.

Disappointing Service
Considering the price that we paid per night, it was no frills from the start. At check-in, the owner was not very friendly and told us immediately if we were interested in dinner that night that we would have to let her know immediately because dinner was clearly not included in our rate. We opted to go into Garmisch for dinner instead.
Upon coming into the room, the room smelled immediately old, dank and dusty. On the website of the property it mentioned that the rooms were redone. This was not the case for us. We had to keep the windows open and still the smell would not go away.
